Panchayat announces schedule for drinking water supply

The panchayat has revised the drinking water supply schedule following repairs to the pumping arrangement.

Revised timings

1. Temple street and the streets behind it — morning supply
2. Main road and the shops — mid-morning supply
3. The new houses on the eastern side — evening supply

Exact timings for each street have been posted on the notice board at the panchayat office and at the bus shelter.

Please note

• Storage is advisable on the days before any announced maintenance
• Report leaking public taps immediately; a leaking tap costs the whole street its supply
• Complaints about supply should go to the panchayat office in person, so they can be recorded

The panchayat has asked residents to be patient while the new schedule settles, and to report problems rather than adjusting pipes themselves.
